Deputy/School Resource Officer/Swat Negotiator

I am Husband, a father of two boys, and I have been working as a Deputy Sheriff for approximately 13 years. I have spent the last 7 years working as a School Resource officer and currently I am assigned in the Littleton Public school district with my School Resource K-9 Rex. Rex is a 1- and 1/2-year-old Labrador retriever, trained and certified as a therapy dog as well as a certified firearms detection dog. Rex and I work in the schools and community to help students, staff and citizens to improve their mental health and keep our community safe.
