Jeff is a widely sought speaker for law enforcement agencies, schools, businesses, and conferences. His seminars include leadership, tactics, legacy impact, and community policing. He is now collaborating on two book projects on Courageous Leadership and Principles, with expected release dates at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024.
REAL WORLD LEADERSHIP
Jeff has spent 24 years in law enforcement, with the last ten years as a supervisor. He has been instructing law enforcement officers and professional staff in general instructor principles for over 20 years and has trained in proficiency and arrest tactics for the same period. His previous assignments include patrol, field training officer and then field training supervisor, proficiency training, public information officer (on call), police explorer advisor, special operations as both a protest negotiator and then supervisor of that unit, investigations as a detective in property, pawn/metals, violent crimes, and homicide, followed by the supervisor of a property crimes unit.
Jeff is a sought-after speaker whose seminars over successive years include contributions to the Back the Blue conference, Kiwanis Club, Narcotics Anonymous, community businesses, and youth groups. He has served as an Elder at Crosstrain Christian church since 2019, delivering sermon instruction and counseling.
Jeff brings a unique focus to his seminars. As a current police supervisor in a major city police department, he has led initiatives to reduce crime and enhance community partnerships that focus on proven leadership principles. He has served through multiple mega-event deployments in different capacities, including three NFL Super Bowl games, NCAA Final Four, and professional football and hockey schedules.
SOUGHT-AFTER EXPERT & EDUCATOR
Jeff has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Aspen University with a focus on Terrorism and Homeland Security. Jeff was a graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Supervisory Leadership Institute and a graduate of the POST Leadership Program in 2015. He has taught students community college and university-level courses since 2019 and continues that today. He is a sought-after court expert in various areas, including the use of force, arrest tactics, and knife lethality, and has testified at the state level in this regard.
