On this episode, we talk to assistant fire chief Kyle Hunt about his story of PTSD and how he realized he was struggling with it, and the strain it put on the relationships in his life. He talks about the different treatment options for mental health, and groups you can reach out to in times of need. He also shares his desire and his feelings of wanting to serve others around him. He talks about working and serving in a smaller community and the struggles that come with that, and responding to familiar people and how difficult that can be.
He is passionate about sharing with others that they can get through their struggles with PTSD and come out a stronger, better, person.
